BIRDS After waking up this morning, the cool breeze and the chirping of bird sitting on the jamun tree in front of my house made the mind happy. May all day I could not forget that scene, today we will do that little bird whose tweet has sent our mind Becomes happy. Importance Many of us or many may not heard story of Bird DODO. Story of dodo will help us to understand how a bird in important for nature and how its extinction affects the world. Dodo bird or Raphus cucullatus was a flightless birds native to the island of Mauritius. Now they are not with us. This is talk of 17th century when Dutch first time entered in Mauritius. That time there was no mammals on island. Dodo used to eat fruits fallen from trees. As portuguese became the first human to set foot on Mauritius. The island quickly became a stopover for ships engaged in spice trade. As no other source Dodo became the welcome source of fresh meat for the sailors. Large number of Dodo were killed for food. पक्षी : आज सुबह उठने के बाद हल्की ठंडी सी हवा और मेरे घर के सामने जामुन के पेड़ पर बैठे पंक्षी की चहचहाहट मन को खुश कर गयी! पूरे दिन मै उस दृश्य को भूल नहीं पाया ! आज बात उन्ही पंक्षियों की जिनके कलरव से हमारा मन प्रसन्न हो जाता है और हमे शांति मिलती है!   क्या हमने कभी सोचा है इन पंक्षियों का मानव जीवन मे सिर्फ इतना ही महत्व है या इससे कहीं अधिक!अगर हम ये ही सोचते हैं तो हम गलत है !वास्तव मे इनके कारण ही इस पृथ्वी पर  जीवन है !  ये जो बीज खाकर इधर उधर फेंकते हैं उनसे दूसरे वृक्षों का जन्म होता है ये परागण प्रक्रिया का सर्वोत्तम स्रोत हैं अगर वो न हो तो मानव जाति के पास भोजन भी नहीं होगा !  ये हमारी फसलों को कीटों से बचाते है ! ये मरे हुए जीवों के विघटन मे मदद करते है! ये हमारे ईकोसिस्टम का बहुत महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा हैं ! ये हमसे कुछ न मांगने वाले और हमे बहुत कुछ देने वाले जीव जिनहे हम सोचते हैं के इनका घर आसमान और पेड़ हैं! हम जमीन वालों से इनका कोई लेना नही है तो हम गलत हैं! अंजाने मे आज मानवजाति के कर्मों से इनकी संख्या संसार से बहुत तेजी से कम हो रही है ! हमारी  ...
